In our first issue of Liberty Matters this year, we exposed the radical environmental goal to permanently protect at least 30 percent of our lands and oceans, predicting it would become the centerpiece Biden’s land-use policy. We have spent much of this year focused on educating landowners on the origins, intent, and actions behind this plan as well as launching a strategy to stop the agenda.
The response has been remarkable. Landowners and counties have taken local action, Governors are guarding against federal overreach, and Congressional Representatives are poised to pass legislation to reverse the agenda when conservatives return to power.
Our opponents have been frustrated. Instead of making great gains, the Biden Administration found itself rebranding the program to “America the Beautiful,” trying to shed what Americans quickly understood to be the largest unauthorized federal land grab our nation has ever faced.
As more and more people learn about the agenda, they oppose this unconstitutional land grab.
